The course is intended for representatives of administrators and processors of personal data and for all employees who come into contact with personal data and need to deepen their knowledge in the area of protection and processing of personal data.

The basis is the interpretation of the requirements of REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as "GDPR", and the Adaptation Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data, and their practical impact on the operation of the organization from the position of both the controller and the processor of personal data. In addition, participants will learn about the opinions of the Office for Personal Data Protection, practical experience and minimum requirements for demonstrating compliance with the GDPR.

The aim is to understand the process of personal data security, focusing on important areas, and to learn how to work with personal data.

• GDPR and Act No. 110/2019 Coll. - introduction, basic concepts
• Obligations of the controller and processor in the processing of personal data
• Most common data subjects and reasons for processing their personal data
• Strengthening the rights of the data subject
• Demonstrating compliance with the GDPR and Act No. 110/2019 - minimum requirements
• Practical experience and opinions of the Data Protection Authority

Upon completion of the course, the participant will receive a Certificate of Completion.
