The course is designed for medical laboratory personnel who have advanced knowledge of the requirements of ISO 15189:2012 and need to become familiar with the changes brought about by the 2022 revision of ISO 15189. The key positions are Quality Manager, Laboratory Manager and Internal Auditor.

The course does not cover the methodology for conducting internal audits or the responsibilities of the quality manager.

The aim of the course is to familiarize the participants with the changes in the requirements of the standard, discuss how to incorporate the changes into the existing quality management system of the respective laboratory and suggest appropriate timing for the transition and preparation for assessment by the auditors of CIA, o.p.s..

Training programme:

• Structure of ISO 15189:2022
• Key changes to the new version of the standard
• Discussion of the individual chapters of the standard - Articles 4 to 8
• Guidance on the appropriate way to transfer the existing quality management system, the correct timing of the transition, the obligations related to the transition towards the CIA, o.p.s.

Upon completion of the course, the participant will receive a Certificate of Completion.
