The course is designed for Data Protection Officers. 

The first part of the course focuses on the basics of the GDPR according to REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as "GDPR", and the Adaptation Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data, and their practical impact on the operation of the organization from the position of both the controller and the processor of personal data.

In the second part of the course, participants will learn about the duties and responsibilities of the DPO, the creation of internal documentation, processing contracts and practical experience in the field of GDPR.

The aim is to understand the process of personal data security, focusing on important areas, and to impart practical knowledge to the DPO.

• Personal data breaches, sanctions (investigation of complaints)

Part 2: Practical experience for DPO

• Internal documentation - catalogue of personal data, records of processing activities, rules for handling personal data

• Monitoring and control

Upon completion of the course, the participant will receive a Certificate of Completion.
